Here you'll find many useful resources for conducting qualitative inquiry. Of particular note is the extensive Bibliography of qualitative research resources. The bibliography is indexed by research genre and methodologies, and contains references and links to high quality web sites. The Research Software page focuses on computer applications that include both quantitative and qualitative research. I have also developed an instructional guide for NUD.IST4 Classic software for analyzing qualitative data.

Sage Publications is one the most prolific publishers of qualitative research journals and books. The Qualitative Research Journal also from Sage, features online abstracts and subscriptions. If you're serious about research you won't want to miss these two full text, peer-reviewed web-based journals: The Forum on Qualitative Research (FQS) online since January 2000; and The International Journal of Qualitative Methods, published quarterly at the University of Alberta.

For the beginning researcher, Frances F. Berdan, Professor of Anthropology and Coordinator of Latin American Studies Program, CSU-San Bernardino, has developed an interactive CD-ROM titled EthnoQuest, designed to introduce novice researchers to the study of ethnographic fieldwork.

The 20th Annual Conference Ethnographic and Qualitative Research in Education (EQRE) will be hosted by Cedarville University on June 6 and 7, 2008.
